Fall Film & Music Events Across the State
The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) is proud to partner this fall with a selection of statewide events highlighting Oklahoma’s film and music industries, including local talent, businesses and communities.
Oklahoma Film + Music Film Friendly Workshop
OF+MO will host its next Film Friendly Workshop on October 1 in Broken Arrow. The Forum works to provide city and tribal leadership training, connection and support surrounding the state’s film and television industry through interactive panels, discussions and more – all on the heels of the City of Broken Arrow’s first film festival, which begins Friday, October 2. This opportunity only happens once every two years and you don’t want to miss out.

Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival
The Heart of Oklahoma returns to downtown Purcell on October 3. Boasting an exciting lineup of music with performances by Oklahoma artists including TJ Todd Band, The Brandon Butler Band, Gary Gibson Band and Logan Mac as well as headliner Little Texas. The free event kicks off at 11 a.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to spend the day enjoying live music.

Another 48-Hour Music Festival
Atoka’s Another 48-Hour Music Festival carries on the legacy once again on October 3. Celebrating the history of Outlaw Country Music, the festival brings Oklahoma band The Great Divide along with Wade Bowen, Kylie Frey, Belle Frantz, Adam Hood and Matt Mercado to perform. This year’s lineup will also feature teenage aspiring musicians local to the area giving them a chance to perform and learn from the pros.

Red Brick Road Film Festival
The film friendly City of Pauls Valley is rolling out the red carpet for the Red Brick Road Film Festival October 8-11. Showcasing films from 11 different genres, the festival offers four days packed with screenings, panels, live table reads, after parties, networking and more with something for everyone. Among this year’s programming, on Saturday, October 10 at 5 p.m., OF+MO will participate in a conversation highlighting the state’s industry, incentive program and resources, and on Sunday, October 11 the Oklahoma rebate film “The One” will screen.

Route 66 Boo Bash
The 100-year celebration of the Mother Road continues with the Route 66 Boo Bash in the film friendly community of Weatherford on October 29 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Offering an evening of fun for the family, guests can expect treats without the tricks, fun, food and live music from Oklahoma’s own Slim Pickens. This event is free to attend.
