BeerBoard Announces AI-Enabled Major Update With SmartBar v3.0

New release puts every view, tool, and action in context—from product catalog and mandates to data-powered ordering, delivery confirmation, and invoice control.

SYRACUSE, NY, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- BeerBoard, the technology and insights company behind AI - Alcohol Intelligence™ for on-premise operators, today announced SmartBar v3.0, a major release of its flagship beverage management platform. Built for multi-location restaurants, bars, and clubs, SmartBar v3.0 brings ordering, inventory, product management, finance, and performance into a single workflow so operators can see what they have, what they need, and what to do next—without leaving context.

The release follows a simple idea captured in the product’s new experience: every view in context, every tool easy to find, every action clearly defined. Operators no longer jump between disconnected screens to approve a product, place an order, confirm a delivery, or reconcile an invoice. Those steps now live together, with the data that should inform them sitting alongside the work.

What’s New in SmartBar v3.0

• Refined user experience. Completely revamped menus on the main dashboard, simplified user menus and actionable alerts are front and center. Everything you need – at a glance.

• Product catalog management, defined as work. Requests, mandates, and recipes sit in one catalog with statuses that make the next step obvious—Need Action, Waiting for Approval, or Completed—so new items move from draft to live without chasing details across email and spreadsheets.

• Automated new-product workflow. Adding draft, package, liquor, wine, bar supplies, or mixers starts with a structured request. Brand search, distributor assignment, and location rollout are built into the flow instead of assembled after the fact.

• Suggested orders powered by real data. SmartBar recommends quantities from sales, on-hand inventory, and SmartBar logic—not guesswork—so managers review and place orders across distributors from one screen.

• Orders tracked. Deliveries confirmed. Invoices in one place. Open, received, and canceled orders are visible in order history. Receipts and invoice images attach to the same record, closing the loop from purchase order to accounting.

• Performance in the right context. Draft yield, buy-versus-sold, draft revenue gap, underperforming count, assortment, and mandate compliance appear on a connected home dashboard so teams can know the target and know what’s on hand before they order again.

Together, the changes are designed to make beverage operations clearer, faster, and more connected—reducing the time general managers spend assembling information and increasing the time they spend acting on it.

“SmartBar 3,0 removes the guesswork and packages the data and every action for the operator so they can run their bars with greater efficiency and clear insight,” said Mark Young, Founder and CEO at BeerBoard.

Who It Serves
SmartBar is used by on-premise operators managing draft, package, liquor, and wine across one location or many. The v3.0 experience is built for corporate beverage teams that set mandates and recipes, and for store teams that execute orders, receipts, and day-to-day inventory. It is designed to scale from individual clubs and restaurants to multi-unit brands and institutional beverage programs, including hospitality operations that require tight control over approved products and distributors.
